Kansas State Assessment
The Kansas State Assessment has already started in USD 420. I appreciate all the hard work students and teachers have done in preparing for these tests. Please keep encouraging and motivating your students to give it their best on these assessments. If you have any questions about the assessments, please call any of the school offices.
School Finance Update
I wish I had better news to share on the school finance issue but we are still waiting to hear from the Kansas State Legislature on what type of funding reductions will occur for next school year. The cut for this year could result in an $85,000 decrease in projected budget authority. We will keep the entire community posted on further information and developments.
USD 420 Board of Education Elections
The USD 420 Board of Education will have three positions up for election this spring. Below are the positions and individuals running for USD 420 School Board:

The general election will be held on Tuesday, April 7.
